Johnny Sketch was born in Maine but lived in Mandeville, Louisiana thoughout high school where he studied classical cello and enjoyed playing in various rock bands on the side. While playing cello with rockers AMERIGO and THERESA ANDERSSON marked his introduction to the New Orleans music scene, he has since become an accomplished guitarist and vocalist and is the leader of the DIRTY NOTES. He has also recorded numerous projects at NOTHING STUDIOS with artists such as NINE INCH NAILS and film director BART FREUNDLICH. Johnny Sketch attended the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) and graduated from Loyola University in May 2002 with a degree in classical cello performance. And yes, his phone number does spell PIMP, and Mr. Sketch would advise you not to forget it.
