Geisterfahrer creates ambient-inspired original music sing manipulated traditional instrumentation, analog ecording equipment and field recordings. No
synthesizers or computers are used. It draws on many influences (from Krautrock to Classical Indian music) without subscribing to one particular genre. It is music with a structured tonal basis that uses layers of unique textures to achieve atmosphere and mood. The members are b. Aubrey & Shae Freeman- respectively a classically-trained Bassist and metal sculptor. They live and work in New Orleans and are also members of local bands "Hurray for the Riff Raff" and "why are we building such a big ship".
