Despite the obvious odds stacked against them and all the obstacles in their path New Orleans Hip-Hop & Rap artist “DA U BOYS” are surely overcoming all of them and becoming one of the South’s most recognizable voices in rap music. The trio has been friends for years and has always shared a strong connection growing up in the Big Easy. Roderick Hartford, AKA “Rock” Ronald Lewis AKA “Hick Louch” and Devin Wineburg
AKA “17th Snoop” all stand poised to move forward. Aided by there confidence and charismatic flow, “DA U BOYS” are exploding on the scene with their hit single “Everything Right”. This single is truly the group needed break and the song has every one on the dance floor with their G Nikes tennis on. Party goers can now party all night and continue spreading the word about “Da U Boys”. In the meantime the group will continue to work toward getting air play in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Collage Radio stations and satellite radio. In the heart of Uptown New Orleans, Louisiana, where “DA U BOYS” grew up, for them there is no question about it, the bayou is the birthplace of the new Hip-Hop-Rap for the next millennium. “Da U Boys” catchy hooks rapped in their songs and their distinctive voices actually separate them from the rap pack. It’s the combination of all those things that is pushing the group to the top. Da U Boys hit single “Everything Right” was produced by Blaq N Mild who is known for producing New Orleans most notable talent. Everyone who hears Blaq say’s he is truly the next Mannie Fresh and will mean what Mannie meant to Cash Money. After Hurricane Katrina “DA U BOYS” picked up the pieces and continued to move forward despite the slow rebuilding process in New Orleans. “DA U BOYS” say’s “you can either wait on the government to give you something or go out there and get it yourself. We have always been the type of people to go get it ourselves and bring it back home.”
